Blood Donation Camp on 30.4.2021 at VIA Auditorium

Vapi Industries Association organizes regular Blood Donation Camps to fulfill the requirement of Blood for needy patients and to mitigate the scarcity of the Blood in the local Blood Banks. From 1st May 2021 all above the age of 18 years will eligible to take the Vaccine to protect themselve from the deadly COVID 19 disease and once vaccinated such person will not be able to donate the blood for the next 28 days. The Team Members of VIA has envisaged acute shortage of Blood in the coming days due to this and therefore arranged this Blood Donation Camp on 30th April 2021. With support of the Industries Members during the camp Smt. Puriben Popat Lakha Lions Blood Bank collected 115 units of blood and Haria L G Rotary Nukem Blood Bank collected 88 units of blood aggregating to total 203 units of blood till the closing of the camp. Shri Kanubhai Desai, MLA, Pardi made a visit to the Blood Donation Camp to inspire the Office Bearers and the Committee Members.
