Inauguration of ETP, CETP, STP Operation and Maintenance Course on 15.2.2021

Under the Green Skill Development Program of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) and with the leadership of Gujarat Cleaner Production Centre – Envis (GCPC), in support of Vapi Industries Association, 15 Candidates will be trained under the guidance of Gujarat Pollution Control Board, Gujarat Cleaner Production Centre, CETP of Vapi and the Expert Industrialists. The Certificate Training Course on ETP, CETP, STP Operation and Maintenance will be of 300 Hours. The Inauguration of the course was done 15th February 2021 at Centre of Excellence, Vapi in the presence of Dr. Bharat Jain, Member Secretary, Gujarat Cleaner Production Centre, Shri Prakash Bhadra, President, VIA, Shri R Gananasegaran, CEO, VGEL, Shri Mahesh Pandya, Chairman of Centre of Excellence Committee, VGEL and Shri Sharad Thakar, Shri Ashok Shukla and Shri Navinbhai Patel. During his speech Dr. Bharat Jain, Member Secretary, GCPC said that this through this ETP, CETP, STP Operation and Maintenance will help in generating skilled work force for the Industrial Units. Shri Prakash Bhadra, President, VIA during his speech said that ETP and CETP is like Universities which will teach the candidates about treatment of different type of effluent, use of 4R Technique and ZLD Process for controlling and reducing Pollution. Shri Mahesh Pandya said that Centre of Excellence of Vapi is been developed by Vapi Green Enviro Ltd. for Skill Development only and it is a matter of pride that the ETP, CETP, STP Operation and Maintenance Course is being held at Centre of Excellence of Vapi.
