Inauguration of VIA COVID 19 War Room on 21.7.2020

Understanding the severity of the situation due to rapid spread of the deadly COVID 19 in the Vapi Industrial Estate and to combat the epidemic successfully, the District Administration and Vapi Industries Association mutually decided to open a VIA COVID 19 War Room at Vapi Emergency Control Center. The War Room is set to monitor the movement of the residents at major road junctions of the estate through CCTV Camera, to regularly compile data of the infected patients of Vapi, to monitor whether the Industries Members are following the SOP prepared as per the Government Guidelines for COVID 19, mapping of the infected residents at Industries and Slum or Chawl Locality. The VIA COVID 19 War Room was inaugurated by Shri R R Raval IAS, Hon’ble Collector of Valsad in presence of Dr. Sandip Naik, Health Officer, Health Department of Valsad, Shri Alpesh Maru, Divisional Manager, GIDC, Vapi, Shri Dineshkumar Parmar, Regional Manager, GIDC, Vapi, Shri Prakash Bhadra, President, VIA, Shri Sunil Agarwal, Vice President, VIA, Shri Satish Patel, Hon. Secretary, VIA, Shri Hemang Naik, Jt. Secretary, VIA, Shri Rajul Shah, Chairman, Environment Committee, VIA, Shri Hemant Patel, Member, Notified Area Governing Board, Vapi and Members of Press & Media.
