Independence Day Celebration on 15th August 2019

Independence Day – 15th August 2019 is celebrated like every year at VIA Ground. The President of Vapi Industries Association (VIA) Shri Prakash Bhadra did the Flag Hoisting at 9:00 am in presence of Shri Satish Patel, Hon. Secretary, VIA, Shri Munna Shah, Treasurer, VIA, Shri Rajneesh Anand, Chairman, VECC Committee, VIA, Shri Kalpesh Vora, Jt. Chairman, VECC Committee, VIA, Shri Hemant Patel, Chairman, NA Committee, VIA and other executive committee memvers of VIA like Shri Pankaj Shukla, Shri Jaish Tekchandani, Shri Lalit Arora, Shri Joy Kothari, members of Senior Citizens Club and students & teachers of St. Xavier’s School, Vapi. Addressing the present Shri Prakash Bhadra, President, VIA expressed his gratitude and explained the importance of the sacrifice made by our great leaders and freedom fighters. Their sacrifice and contribution has given us independence. He said we all should value and respect those leaders and freedom fighters by following their path and philosophy of Nation first, that only will lead us to a new brighter, prosperous India. He also emphasized the importance of the students and youth for progress of the Nation. He also requested all the present for their active involvement with various social organizations and NGOs in making Vapi a Green Global Industrial Estate. Shri Satish Patel, Hon. Secretary, VIA also requested all not to forget the sacrifice done by Mahatma Gandhiji and other freedom fighters for making of India. He said that the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi has requested the citizens of India to reduce the use of plastic to make India clean and free from pollution he then said we all should follow the request made by Hon’ble Prime Minister by reducing usage of plastic bags and other articles. Before concluding the Independence Day Celebration the new Vapi Emergency Control Centre (VECC) Office was also been inaugurated with upgraded equipments, hardware and materials.
