Inauguration of Environment Drive 2019 on 7.6.2019

Vapi Industries Association (VIA) jointly with Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB), Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC), Notified Area Authority (NAA), Vapi and Vapi Green Enviro Ltd. (VGEL) is initiating Environment Drive every year to maintain the ecological balance and for the betterment of the environment in and around Vapi Industrial Estate. This year also Environment Drive 2019 will be done for 3 months. During the Environment Drive 2019 we will be doing Mass Tree Plantation, develop Pocket Gardens at various open lands and road junctions of Vapi Industrial Estate, exercise Cleaning Drive, develop Model Streets, hold Seminars related to Environmental Topics, Awareness Sessions, Special Awareness Sessions for School Students and Housewives of the Estate. The inauguration of the Environment Drive 2019 was done on 7th June 2019. During the Inaugural Session of the Environment Drive 2019 the work of development of a Pocket Garden was initiated at GIDC Char Rasta (Silvassa Road & NH No. 48 crossing) by the worthy hands of Shri Kanubhai Desai, MLA Pardi by doing tree plantation at the said garden in the presence of Shri B R Gajjar, Regional Officer, GPCB, Vapi, Smt. Jignasha Oza, Environment Officer, GPCB, Vapi, Shri C K Akhani, Divisional Manager, GIDC, Vapi, Shri D B Sagar, Dy. Executive Engineer, NAA, Vapi, Shri Prakash Bhadra, President, VIA, Shri Satish Patel, Hon. Secretary, VIA, Shri Hemang Naik, Jt. Secretary, VIA, Shri A K Shah, Past president, VIA, Shri S S Sarna, Director, VGEl, Shri Magan Savalia, Director, VGEL, Shri Chetan Patel, Director, VGEL, Shri Rajendra Chechani, CFO, VGEL, Shri Kalpesh Vora, Chairman, Green Society, VIA and Shri Kamlesh Patel, Jt. Chairman, Green Society, VIA. The Inaugural Function of the Environment Drive 2019 was well attended by many Executive Committee Members and Members of VIA and members of Press & Media.
