Visit of Shri Pradeep Singh, Addl. Secretary, Dept. of Environment & Forest, Govt. of Gujarat on 31.8.2018

Shri Pradeep Singh IFS, Director (Environment), Dept. of Environment & Forest, Govt. of Gujarat came for visit to Vapi today and had a interaction with members of Team VIA about the the expansion plan of CETP from 55 MLD to 70 MLD, Formation of the Acid Bank and other Environmental Issues of the Estate. Shri Prakash Bhadra, President, VIA, Shri Satish Patel, Hon. Secretary, VIA, Shri Rajul Shah, Chairman - Environment Committee, VIA, Shri Chetan Patel, Director, VGEL, Shri R Gananasegaran, CEO, VGEL and Shri B R Gajjar, RO, GPCB and other officers of GPCB were present for the discussion at VIA Office. Thereafter the members of Team VIA took Shri Singh to CETP, Vapi for a visit. After seeing the process of treatment he thoroughly appreciated the process maintained at CETP. Then he did symbolic tree plantation also at the CETP, Vapi.
