World Environment Day Celebration on 5.6.2026

The theme for the World Environment Day – 5th June 2026 is # Now for Climate and what can be the better way to protect the Climate than Tree Plantation, therefore with the motto to stop the Climate Change and to protect the Environment, Green Society of Vapi Industries Association (VIA) with the support of Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB), Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC), Vapi, Notified Area Authority (NAA), Vapi, Vapi Green Enviro Ltd. and the Industries Members successfully executed the following programs with the august presence of Shri Kanubhai Desai, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister of Finance, Urban Development & Urban Housing, Govt. of Gujarat : ? Inauguration Garden development with lawn and plantation of over 1200 trees in the periphery of the garden at Swami Vivekananda Gurukul, Dungra with a plan to further plant around 800 trees on the boundary of the school, with the support of Aarti Industries Ltd. ? Inauguration Green Belt development at 2nd Phase of GIDC, Vapi from Bhadakmora to Tulsi Hotel by planting around 550 trees. ? Inauguration of Green Belt on the Serice Raod of NH No. 48 from Vibrant Business Park to CETP, Vapi with plantation of 150 trees. ? Dense forestation by mass tree plantation of 2400 trees at CETP, Vapi These events were held in the presence of Shri Satishbhai Patel, President, VIA, Shri Maganbhai Savalia, Vice President, VIA, Shri Kalpeshbhai Vora, Hon.
