Welcome Meet of Shri Naimesh N Dave IAS, Hon’ble Collector of Valsad on 31st August 2024 at VIA 2nd Floor Conference Hall

Shri Naimesh N Dave IAS has recently taken charge as the Hon’ble Collector of Valsad. A Welcome Meet of Shri Dave was arranged at VIA 2nd Floor Conference Hall on 31st August 2024 in the august presence of Shri Kanubhai Desai, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister of Finance, Energy & Petrochemicals, Govt. of Gujarat. Shri Atirag Chaplot IAS, who has recently taken charge as the District Development Officer of Valsad was also present during the Welcome Meet and a he has also been give a Welcome for his new assignment as DDO, Valasd. Shri Satishbhai Patel, President, VIA delivered his welcome address welcoming all the honoured guests and the present Office Bearers & Committee Members of Sarigam Industries Association (SIA), Umargam Industries Association (UIA) and Morai Industries Association (MIA), he also welcomed his fellow Office Bearers, Advisory Board Members and Committee Members of VIA and the present Industries Members. He also informed the present that recently Shri Kanubhai has attended a meeting organized by Shri C R Patil Saheb, Hon’ble Minister of Jal Shakti, Govt. of India to discuss about the Water Recharging activities to be done at Valsad District as part of the Catch the Rain project envisaged by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modiji. He said Shri Kanubhai himself will be briefing about the same later on. After the welcome address of Shri Satishbhai, Floral welcome was given to all the Dignitaries by the representatives of VIA, SIA, UIA & MIA and by Shri Milanbhai Desai on behalf of R K Desai Group of Colleges. During his address Shri Chaplot said that he is taken by surprise by such warm welcome and it was pleasantly unexpected. He then said that he was also present in the meeting held by Shri C R Patil Saheb and as expressed by Shri C R Patil sahib Valsad District need to do 500 Water Recharging of Borewell etc. at the villages to uplift the water table. He therefore requested VIA to extend its support by doing 300 borewell recharge at the surrounding villages and also assured to extend his best support in doing the same. Similarly he requested the other Industries Association to do 150 number of water recharges under Catch the Rain initiative. Shri Dave thereafter thanked all the representatives of the present associations for such warm welcome and expressed his confidence on the Industries and the Associations present in successfully executing the water recharging activity as requested by Shri Chaplot. Shri Kanubhai thereafter during his address said that Industries Associations of Valsad district has always taken a lead in various endeavours exercised for the well being of the citizens of this region and he is confident that this initiative under Catch the Rain project will also be successfully accomplished by VIA and the other Industries Associations. Shri Yogeshbhai, Advisory Board Member of VIA assured Shri Dave and Shri Kanubhai that VIA and other Associations will definitely do more than the expectation.
