World Environment Day Celebration on 5th June 2024

Green Society of Vapi Industries Association (VIA) is playing the lead role in maintaining the greenery in Vapi Industrial Estate by regularly doing mass tree plantation, green belt development, gardens and circles development with the support of Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB), Notified Area Authority (NAA), Vapi, Vapi Green Enviro Ltd. (VGEL), Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) and the Industries Members. This has helped in maintaining the ecological balance and ambience in one of the largest chemical hub. On the World Environment Day – 5th June 2024 the Green Society has started the development a Green Belt on both the sides of the Degam Road starting from Ambedkar Chowk to Vinanti Naka admeasuring area of about 9200 Square Meters. Total 1300 Nos. of Big Trees and 11,000 shrubs & plants will be planted in that green belt within in a short time to make that area green. Similarly the development work of the Green Belt from Bank of Baroda to Center of Excellence, Vapi on the 1st Phase admeasuring about 29000 Square Meters, total 4000 Nos. of big tress and 20000 plants & shrubs will be planted in that Green Belt. The inauguration of the developmental works both these Green Belts were done on this day by the worthy hands of Shri Kanubhai Desai, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister of Finance, Energy & Petrochemicals, Govt. of Gujarat. Thereafter Tree Plantation was done at the Center of Excellence (CoE), Vapi and CETP, Vapi in the august presence of Shri Kanubhai Desai. The World Environment Day Celebration programs were held in the presence of Shri Satishbhai Patel, President, VIA, Shri Maganbhai Savalia, Vice President, VIA, Shri Kalpeshbhai Vora, Hon.Secretary, VIA, Shri Rajulbhai Shah, Treasurer, VIA, Shri Chandreshbhai Maru, Jt. Secretary, VIA, Advisory Board Members of VIA – Shri A K Shah, Shri Yogeshbhai Kabaria, Shri MIlanbhai Desai, Shri Rajneesh Anand, Shri Kamleshbhai Patel, Ex Officio, VIA, Executive Committee Members – Shri Hemang Naik, Shri Prabhakar Borole, Shri Mitesh Desai, Shri Jatinbhai Mehta, CEO, VGEL, many of the Industries Members and Staff Members of VIA & VGEL.
