National Pollution Control Day Celebration on 2.12.2023, Saturday at VIA, Vapi

Vapi Industries Association (VIA) in its relentless efforts is working for the betterment of Environment & Ambiance by spreading awareness for abatement of Pollution through various awareness drives, activities and programs. Similar initiatives were taken as part of the National Pollution Control Day Celebration on 2nd December 2023, Saturday jointly with Valsad District Administration, Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB), Notified Area Authority (NAA), Vapi, Vapi Green Enviro Ltd. (VGEL), Vapi Nagarpalika, Local Police Department and Rotary Club of Vapi. During the National Pollution Control Day a Cycle Rally was organized at 8:00 am starting from VIA for a stretch of about 4 KMs through the residence area of Gunjan, Vapi concluding at VIA. Over 200 Industries Workers, Residents and Cyclist Group of Vapi took part in the Cycle Rally. The Rally was flagged off by Smt. Kshipra Agre IAS, Hon’ble Collector of Valsad in the presence of Shri Ankit Gohil, Prant Officer, Pardi, Mamalatdar, Vapi (Urban & Rural), Shri B N Dave, Dy. SP, Vapi, Shri B G Bharvad, Police Inspector, Vapi GIDC Police Station, Shri A G Patel, Regional Officer, GPCB, Vapi, Shri Trivedi, Regional Office r, GPCB, Sarigam, Shri Vivek Trivedi, Environment Engineer, GPCB, Vapi, Shri Satish Patel, President, VIA, Shri Magan Savalia, Vice President, VIA, Shri Kalpesh Vora, Hon. Secretary, VIA, Shri Chandresh Maru, Jt. Secretary, VIA, Shri Kamlesh Patel, Immd. Past President, VIA, Shri Prakash Bhadra, Advisory Board Member, VIA, Executive Committee Members of VIA like Shri Hemang Naik, Shri Kaushik Patel, Shri Krishnanad Heble, Shri Mitesh Desai, Shri Bhagwan Ajbani, Shri Devendra Patel, Shri Arun Kumar and many more, Smt. Hon’ble Collector, the Regional Officer, GPCB, Vapi and President, VIA during their address before the Rally explained the ways and necessity to reduce air pollution for better ambiance. After the Cycle Rally the present dignitaries visited CETP, Vapi to do Tree Plantation there and after that the Team Members of GPCB, VIA & Vapi Nagarpalika took part in the ongoing cleaning activities at the Service Road of NH No. 48 and Vapi Daman Road. All the events during the National Pollution Control Day Celebration was held very successfully with the support of all the partners of the event and Industries & Trade Members, their employees & workers.
