Activities of Environment Drive 2022 on 11.6.2022

Green Society of Vapi Industries Association (VIA) in its continued effort to improve the Environment & Ambience of Vapi Industrial Estate and surrounding areas and to increase the greenery in the estate has organized Environment Drive 2022 like done every year. Many of the activities as part of the Environment Drive 2022 were arranged on 11th June 2022, Saturday at multiple sites of the estate. Khat Muhrat of the work of garden development at the green space of Saurabh Society, Housing Zone was done by the worthy hands of Shri Kanubhai Desai, Hon’ble Minister of Finance, Energy & Petrochemicals, Govt. of Gujarat. The Corner Garden of the VIA House has been redeveloped by Green Society of VIA with the support of its Industries Member – Punagri Organics & Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd., the Lokarpan of the same was done by the worthy hands of Shri Kanubhai. The road at the J Type Area has been redeveloped and the Lokarpan of the same was done very recently. To beautify the redeveloped road Green Society of VIA is doing tree plantation on both the sides of the redeveloped road, the inauguration of the work was done by the worthy hands of Shri Kanubhai by doing tree plantation. The open area in front of the VIA House was also beautified by plants, lawns and pebbles, the same was also inaugurated by Shri Kanubhai. Green Society of VIA has earlier decided to extend its support to the Industries Members, particularly the MSME units by developing garden in front of their factory premises by the CSR Funds of VIA and accordingly requests were invited from the interested Industries Members. Total 18 requests were received from Industries Members. The Inauguration of the said project was done in front of India Gelatine & Chemicals Ltd. (one of the beneficiary Industries) by Shri Kanubhai by making tree plantation. Mass Tree Plantation was also initiated at the CETP of Vapi by Shri Kanubhai to make dense forest like greenery at the CETP. All these events were held with the support of all the patron partners of the Environment Drive 2022 – GPCB, GIDC, NAA and VGEL. All these activities of Environment Drive 2022 was done on this day in the august presence of Shri Kamlesh Patel, President, VIA, Shri Sunil Agarwal, Vice President, VIA, Shri Satish Patel, Hon.
