Inauguration of Green Belt from Sardar Chowk to Vinanti Naka on 7th June 2022, as part of Environment Drive 2022

Green Society of Vapi Industries Association (VIA) is working tirelessly to increase the greenery in and around the Vapi Industrial Estate to uphold its Environment & Ambience. Green Society is blessed with the support of Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB), Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC), Notified Area Authority (NAA) of Vapi, Vapi Green Enviro Ltd. (VGEL) and last but not the least – the Industries Members, in all its’ endeavour. Green Society has earlier identified a land admeasuring 15045 Suqare Meter from Sardar Chowk to Vinanti Naka for development of Green Belt, thereafter coordinated with Notified Area Authority and the Industries Members to initiate the development work, a competent agency has been identified through transparent process and the work has been awarded to them. The project will be done with the support of the patron Industries Members – Pidilite Industries Ltd., Sarna Chemicals Ltd. and Hemco Plastic Industries along with GPCB, GIDC, NAA and VGEL. The Inauguration of the work of development of the Green Belt from Sardar Chowk to Vinanti Naka has been done on 7th June 2022, Tuesday as part of the Environment Drive 2022 in the presence of Shri H M Ganvit, Regional Officer, GPCB, Vapi, Shri D B Sagar, Chief Officer, NAA, Vapi, Shri Vivek Trivedi, Environment Officer, GPCB, Vapi, Shri Kamlesh Patel, President, VIA, Shri Hemang Naik, Treasurer, VIA, Shri Kalpesh Vora, Jt.
