Lokarpan of New Energy Saving Street Lights at Housing Zone I & II of Vapi Industrial Estate on 8th May 2022

Many of the Infrastructure Projects of Vapi Industrial Estate has been completed in super fast speed after the appointment of our Advisory Board Member – Shri Kanubhai Desai as the Hon’ble Minister of Finance, Energy & Petrochemicals, Govt. of Gujarat. The work order for the installation of the new energy saving LED Street Lights for the Housing Zone I & II of Vapi Industrial Estate was awarded to New Water World, Surat on 8th June 2021 and the work has been completed on 30th April 2022. Within this time frame 1040 Nos. of Street Light Poles with 1295 Nos. of LED Lights has been installed with an expenditure of Rs. 3.71 Crores. The Lokarpan of the same was done by the worthy hand of Shri Kanubhai Desai as the Hon’ble Minister of Finance, Energy & Petrochemicals, Govt. of Gujarat at Rotary Circle, GIDC, Vapi on 8th May 2022, Sunday. The Lokarpan ceremony was held in the presence of Shri Kamlesh Patel, President, VIA, Shri Satish Patel, Hon. Secretary, VIA, Shri Kalpesh Vora, Jt. Secretary, VIA, Shri A K Shah, Advisory Board Member, VIA, Shri Shirish Desai, Advisory Board Member, VIA, Shri Yogesh Kabaria, Advisory Board Member, VIA, Shri Milan R Desai, Advisory Board Member, VIA, Shri Hemant Patel, Chairman – Notified Area Committee, VIA, Shri Shilpesh Desai, Secretary, BJP – Valsad, Shri Ashish Maru, Divisional Manager, GIDC, Vapi, Shri D M Parmar, Regional Manager, GIDC, Vapi, Shri D B Sagar, Chief Officer, Notified Area Authority, Vapi. The Lokarpan ceremony was attended by many of the Executive Committee Members & Members of VIA, Staff Members of GIDC and NAA, Vapi and local residents. Shri Kamleshbhai during his welcome speech gave brief details of the project, Shri Yogeshbhai Kabaria during his speech expressed that almost all the necessary infrastructure projects of the estate are either completed or already in process of completion due to the unconditional support and guidance of Shri Kanubhai, he further said that in fact Shri Kanubhai enquires continuously whether any other infrastructural work is needed in the estate so that he may take it up with the concerned for early implementation of the same. Shri Kanubhai during his speech said that it is duty of the Member of the Legislative Assembly to look after the works of his / her constituency and he therefore feel it is his duty to ensure the infrastructural projects are taken up on war footing to offer quality living of the citizens of this estate. The event was concluded by vote of thanks delivered by Shri Satishbhai.
