Lokarpan of Redeveloped Road at J Type Area of Vapi Industrial Estate on 26th March 2022

The road connecting NH No. 48 with the newly developed Railway Underpass was developed way back in the year 1997 and therefore the road got its wear & tear, therefore repair & maintenance was much needed for this road. Shri Kanubhai Desai the MLA, Pardi that time envisaged the need to redevelop this road with modern technology has then took the initiative to redevelop this road in the year 2020 and with his effort the project was sanctioned under Assistance for Industrial Infrastructure (AII) Scheme and it was decided to redevelop this road with four lane and divider facility the responsibility to redevelop this road will be shared by GIDC, Vapi and Vapi Nagarpalika. Thereafter the work of redevelopment of the said road started on December 2020 and got completed on November 2021. The Lokarpan of the Redeveloped Road was planned on 26th march 2022, Saturday by the worthy hands of Shri Kanubhai Desai, Hon’ble Minister of Finance, Energy & Petrochemicals, Govt. of Gujarat. The Lokarpan ceremony was held in the presence of Shri B C Warli, Chief Engineer, GIDC, Shri Ashish Maru, Divisional Manager, GIDC, Vapi, Shri D B Sagar, Chief Officer, Notified Area Authority, Vapi, Smt. Kashmira Shah, President, Vapi Nagarpalika, Shri Miteshbhai Desai, Chairman – Executive Committee of Vapi Nagarpalika, Shri Shaileshbhai Patel, Chief Officer, Vapi Nagarpalika, Shri Kalpeshbha Shah, Town Planner, Vapi Nagarpalika, Shri Shilpesh Desai, Secretary, BJP, Valsad, Shri Kamleshbhai Patel, President, VIA, Shri Sunil Agarwal, Vice President, VIA, Shri Satish Patel, Hon. Shri Satishbhai during his welcome address welcomed one and all in the Lokarpan Ceremony and thereafter giving the brief of the project informed the present that this road with the length of 1160 Meters has been redeveloped with a cost of Rs. 10.21 Corers. The road has been redeveloped by making it Asphalt Road with 4 lanes along with Divider. The Storm Water Drainage line with Box Type Culvert and Water Supply Line has also been redone along with the redevelopment of this road. He expressed sincere thanks to Shri Kanubhai for his selfless support and guidance for such immediate execution of this project, he also thanked Shri Yogeshbhai, Shri Milanbhai and Shri Kamleshbhai for their continuous support in all the developmental works of the estate. He further informed that with able leadership and guidance of Shri Kanubhai Desai we are also doing the CC Lining of the Bilkhadi, Laying the Storm Water Drainage Line from Govinda Complex to Bilkhadi to avoid water logging and many more projects. Concluding his address he once again thanked Shri Kanubhai Desai, Minister of Finance, Energy & Petrochemicals, Govt. of Gujarat for his initiative to better facilities & amenities to the Industries Members and Citizens of Vapi Industrial Estate and Vapi Nagarpalika. Shri B C Warli then during his addressed thanked Shri Kanubhai for his support in materializing this project. While giving brief of the project he informed the present that this road is develop with latest Geo Cell technology to give better life of the road. Smt. Kashmiraben addressing the present thanked Shri Kanubhai for his support and guidance in completing this project in such a short time. She then said Vapi Nagarpalika and GIDC & NAA are working hand in hand to offer best of the services and amenities to the people of this region. She assured that with the able leadership and guidance of Shri Kanubhai we will be developing many more facilities in the coming days to facilitate the Citizens of Vapi. Shri Kanubhai during his speech said he would like to thank the team of GIDC and Vapi Nagarpalika who have designed and worked day & night to materialize this project. He said with the support of the authorities and officials we will further improve the infrastructures of Vapi. He further said that all the present are thanking him for all these projects all the time but he feels as a representative of this constituency it is his duty to work for the people of this region and he will continue doing so. Shri Shaileshbhai then delivered the vote of thanks to all the present for attending the Lokarpan ceremony and expressed a special thanks to Shri Kanubhai for these extra ordinary support, he also assured to offer the best of the services for the further development of the infrastructures and amenities of Vapi.
