Visit of Scheduled Tribes Welfare Committee of Gujarat Assembly at Vapi on 29th December 2021

The Scheduled Tribes Welfare Committee of Gujarat Assembly came for a visit to Vapi Industrial Estate on 29th December 2021, Wednesday. The goal of the committee is to take the inputs from Industries and Citizens of different Cities and Industrial Estates to find out the issues, challenges and facilities for employment particularly for the tribal people of the State so that the same may be taken for discussion in Assembly for amicable solution. The committee consisting Shri Mohanbhai Dhodia, President, Scheduled Tribes Welfare Committee & MLA of Mahua, Shri Abhaysinh Tadvi, MLA, Sankheda, Shri Anandbhai Chaudhari, MLA, Mandvi, Shri Sunilbhai Gamit, MLA, Nizar, Shri Arvindbhai Patel, MLA, Dharampur, Shri Ramanbhai Patkar, MLA, Umargam accompanied by Shri Vinodkumar Rathod, Under Secretary, Gujarat Assembly, Shri Pratik Acharya, Section Officer, Gujarat, Assembly and Shri Amrut Nadiya, Dy. Section Officer, Gujarat Assembly, Dr. S N Agarwal, Sr. Scientific Officer, GPCB, Head Office and Shri K M Vagamsinh, Dy. Executive Engineer, Dept. of Environment & Forest, Govt. of Gujarat was present during the visit interactive meeting. The meeting was held in the presence of Shri D K Vasava, Dy. Director, DISH, Valsad, Shri Parag Dave, Regional Officer, GPCB, Vapi, Shri A G Patel, Regional Officer, GPCB, Sarigam & Navsari, Shri D B Sagar, Chief Officer, NAA, GIDC, Vapi, Shri Kamlesh Patel, President, VIA, Shri Sunil Agarwal, Vice President, VIA, Shri Satish Patel, Hon. Secretary, VIA, Shri Hemang Naik, Treasurer, VIA, Shri Kalpesh Vora, Jt. Secretary, VIA, Shri Yogeshbhai Kabaria, Advisory Board Member, VIA, Shri Prakashbhai Bhadra, Advisory Board Member, VIA, Shri Maganbhai Savalia, Executive Committee Member, VIA prominent Industries Members of VIA and Officers from various Government Authorities.
Shri Kamleshbhai during his welcome address gave brief about VIA and its activities followed by floral welcome of the dignitaries, thereafter Shri Hemangbhai gave a detailed visual presentation on the activities of VIA.
Thereafter Shri Mohanbhai and all the present members of the committee has expressed the need to take care of the tribal population of the surrounding areas, all of them during their address has appreciated the initiatives and efforts already taken by VIA and its members to establish necessary amenities and facilities for the tribal folks of the surrounding villages and areas.
The meeting was then concluded with vote of thanks delivered by Shri Satishbhai.
The committee members thereafter went for a visit to the CETP of Vapi, Muktidham and one Paper Industry – Aryan Paper Mills and one Pharmaceutical Industry – S Kant Healthcare.
