Khat Muhurat of the Work of Underground Cabling of 11 KV HT/LT Lines & Poles in the Residential & Commercial Areas of Vapi Industrial Estate on 26th March 2022

Vapi Industries Association (VIA) was representing regularly for Underground Cabling of the Overhead 11 KV HT/LT Lines and Poles in the Residential & Commercial Areas of the Vapi Industrial Estate since long but after Shri Kanubhai Desai took charge as the Hon’ble Minister of Finance, Energy & Petrochemicals, Govt. of Gujarat the project got approval in very short time and Khat Muhurat of the same is then planned on this day i.e. 26th march 2022, Saturday at 10:00 am opp. Low Price Superstore at Gunjan, GIDC, Vapi by the worthy hands of Shri Kanubhai Desai. Shri Kamleshbhai during his welcome address welcomed one and all in the Khat Muhurat Ceremony and thereafter giving the brief of the project informed the present that this entire project will cost Rs. 10.18 Crores, out of which 60% of the amount is paid by the Govt. of Gujarat under the Assistance for Industrial Infrastructure (AII) Scheme, 20% is been contributed by DGVCL and rest 20% is paid by Notified Area Authority of Vapi as Stakeholder. He said under this project 14.8 KMs long electrical lines will be made underground increasing the quality of power, safety and the same will also provide additional land on the side of the roads for beautification, parking and road widening wherever needed. He expressed sincere thanks to Shri Kanubhai for his selfless support and guidance for such early approval process of the project, he also thanked Shri Yogeshbhai, Shri Milanbhai and Shri Satishbhai for their continuous efforts in holding numerous meetings with Shri Kanubhai and co-ordination meetings with concerned authorities for early approval & implementation of the project. He further said that with able leadership and guidance of Shri Kanubhai Desai we are also been able to do the projects like Conversion of 66 KV HT Line No. 1 & 2 into Underground Cabling, the land has already been allotted for the much awaited Sports Complex, Pipeline for Deep Sea Discharge of Treated Industrial Waste Water, 100 Bed Hospital for the needy people etc. he thanked Shri Kanubhai Desai, Minister of Finance, Energy & Petrochemicals, Govt. of Gujarat for his intiative to fulfill these dreams of the Industries Members and Citizens of Vapi Industrial Estate and making Vapi Industrial Estate into a role model Estate. Shri M G Surti then during his address explained advantage of this project and thanked Shri Kanubhai and the Officers of GIDC for their support in early implementation of this project. He also thanked the Team of VIA for their proactive support in giving shape to this project. He also assured all to maintain the quality and timely execution of the project. Shri B C Warli then thanked Shri Kanubhai for his support in materializing this project and requested the Officers of DGVCL for timely execution of the project and ensure the quality of work. Shri Kanubhai during his speech said all the works as mentioned by Shri Kamleshbhai is a team work of all the stakeholders like GIDC, NAA, VIA, DGVCL, Vapi Nagarpalika and not his own effort only, he continued saying that representations were made regularly in the past for implementation of all these projects and with the support of Gujarat Government we are now getting the approval of these projects. He further said that these are not his personal credits as any elected members of legislative assembly have got their responsibilities to work for their constituency and he is merely doing his duty. Shri Satishbhai then delivered the vote of thanks to all the present for attending the Khat Muhurat ceremony and expressed a special thanks to Shri Kanubhai for these extra ordinary support to make this Estate a world class Estate.
