2nd International Day for Clean Air for Blue Skies on 7th September 2021

Last year the first ever International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies with the theme Clean Air for All was celebrated. The theme for the 2nd International Day of Clean Air for blue skies was “Healthy Air, Healthy Planet” which emphasizes the health effects of air pollution, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Day aims to prioritize the need for healthy air for all while keeping conversations broad enough to encompass other critical issues such as climate change, human and planetary health as well as the Sustainable Development Goals. Vapi Industries Association (VIA) and Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB), Vapi has celebrated the 2nd International Day for Clean Air for Blue Skies on 7th September 2021 at VIA 1st Floor Conference Hall in the presence of Shri Haresh M Ganvit, Sr. Scientific Officer & Lab Head, GPCB, Vapi, Shri Jay Patel, GPCB, Vapi, Shri Hemang Naik, Treasurer, VIA and many Industries representatives from Paper Mills and other Industries. Shri Hemangbhai said that safe keeping of environment and air ambience is a necessity while striving for further Industrialization to generate sustainable growth and therefore he requested all the present Industries Members & Representatives to give as much care towards environment and ecology as towards production and manufacturing processes. Shri Jay Patel explained the need to nurture environment and air ambience and the collateral damage it may cause in the future if we fail to maintain the air ambience. Shri Ganvit requested the Industries Members to take utmost care for their emission by doing all the necessary compliances. The event was very informative and expected to cause significant improvement.
